Community Wireless in Portland

1. Crappy location (rolling hills, trees and not much high ground).
2. Not too much incentive to build (broadband is cheap and available).
3. Harder in big cities (more resources but more distrust and ambivalence).
4. Crappy economy, underemployed geeks are vital!
5. Very liberal and community oriented.
6. Mostly hotspots, people want "Internet" not "network".
