Jizo Salad Dressing
Introduction
This is very like the salad dressing served in Jizo, the Japanese restaurant on Princes Street, Dunedin. I recommend the restaurant highly. It's actually run by Japanese and not Koreans which makes a change. By and large Koreans make terrible Japanese food and I wish they would stick to making Korean food which is very good.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs. apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbs. water
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs. sesame oil
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
Directions
Put all the ingredients in a small pan and heat enough to dissolve all the sugar. Allow to cool and bottle it.
Variations
You can make this in much larger quantities, the recipe scales well. I think you could exchange cups for tablespoons without any trouble, but I have not tried it.
