Video conferencing software which supports more then point to point conferencing.
- Damaka (Windows)
- Peer to peer SIP based client. Not sure exactly what it supports ...
- iChat A/V (Mac)
- Based on AIM for instant messaging it supports up to 10 people in a audio conference and 4 people in a video conference. Strongest point is the echo cancellation which allows excellent sound quality using the built in mic and speakers on your laptop.
- iVisit (Mac / Windows)
- The free version supports up to 8 way video confernce but is restricted to very low resolution. I think it supports either a peer to peer or a client-server architecture.
- SightSpeed (Windows)
- Allows up to a four person video conference. Initiating a multi-person confernence requires the pro version.
- X-Lite (Free)
- General purpose SIP/H.263 voice and video soft phone. Is supposed to support multi-way video conferencing. eyeBeam is the commercial version with some additional features.
